Original design based on historic originals. This one is maple and salvaged Douglas fir. Soundhole of black walnut with hand-carved maple insert is glass "ruby" in the center. This is a 2 1/2 octave psaltery.The Douglas fir top is wood salvaged from a demolished Portland warehouse.
