1981: My second dulcimer with salvaged wood. The sides and back are made from old red oak flooring, resawn to 1/8" thick and sanded to approximately 3/32". The head and tailpiece are new pieces of red oak. The top is spruce. The fingerboard is pine with a laminated black walnut fretboard. The pegs, nut, and bridge are ebony. Given to a fellow musician as a gift in 2004.
